Managing your Email Accounts
With every Biz server subscription is included basic web & POP3 email hosting.
This document outlines how you can access the administrator control panel to do the following:
- Add/delete/modify email addresses
- Assign/reset passwords
- Setup email forwards
- Setup Auto-Responder (Out of Office reply)
- Setup email aliases (sales@, info@)
- Manage spam settings (spam threshold, whitelists, blacklists)
These instructions do not apply to you if:
- If you subscribe to Scalix/Groupware, check Managing your Scalix Groupware accounts.
- If you have a Joomla based website
How to access the Email Control Panel (cpanel):
- Go to your website name and add /cpanel to the end of it. For example: www.yourname.com/cpanel
- You will be prompted to enter a userid and password.
- Your username is the first 8 characters of your domain name. For example, the user name for the domain of companyxyz.com would be companyx
- Your password was emailed to you when your account was setup. If you do not know it, you can log in to Technical Support Support to see it.
